Coming from a long holiday break, the Lady Spikers warmed-up for their big showdown against Ateneo next week as they easily breezed past UP 25-15, 25-8, 25-8 to notch their 5th win in 6 games.

Michelle Gumabao and Ara Galang led La Salle with 8 points each, while Mika Reyes added 7 markers.  Kim Fajardo scored 6 points off the bench.

It was a dominating performance for the Lady Spikers wherein they limited UP to just 31 points and had 12 players scoring at least a point. It only took them an hour to finish the match.

La Salle remains in solo second behind the Lady Eagles (6-0). They look to grab a share of first place at the end of the first round when both teams clash on January 12.
