The De La Salle University Lady Archers experienced their second defeat in the UAAP Season 82 Women’s Basketball Tournament, 58-112, at the hands of defending champions National University Lady Bulldogs, Wednesday morning, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion in Manila.

With the result, La Salle now has a win-loss record of 1-2 after three games.

Bernice Paraiso and Kent Pastrana led the Green & White with 14 and 12 points respectively.

The Lady Archers’ dismal start to the game saw them lose the first period with a scoreline of 9-29. Despite limiting the Lady Bulldogs to just eight markers in the third frame, La Salle suffered constant bombardment by NU and experienced its highest deficit of the game of 54 points by the sounding of the final buzzer.

La Salle hopes to arrest this slump when it takes on University of the East on September 14, 2019, 8:00 AM, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
