Behind a hot shooting second half, the Green Archers once again defeated the Lyceum Pirates 73-57 to clinch the Araw ng Davao basketball tournament championship last night

Just like their match-up the other day, both teams went head-on in the first two quarters with La Salle just ahead by a point 32-31 at halftime.

With an 8-point lead heading into the final period, La Salle flexed their muscles as they went on an offensive run that put the game out of reach for Lyceum.

Encho Serrano, the most consistent performer in all 4 games for the Green Archers was named tournament MVP.

The team last won the title of this 4-team invitationals in 2016. They finished 2nd in 2017 and did not participate the following year.
