Rematch Real Quick

Looking to extend their winning run to three, the Green Archers shall do battle once again with Adamson, the team they beat just a week ago in a come-from-behind-fashion.

Following their loss to La Salle, one of the Adamson players was quoted in saying it was not the Green Archers that beat them, but rather themselves. With that, expect the Soaring Falcons to be all fired-up tomorrow as they seek to not only end their 7-game losing streak against us but also to maintain their hold on the top spot in the team standings.

May that comment serve as added motivation for the Green Archers and prove that their win over them was not a fluke. Good thing that the team appears to be playing with a lot more confidence right now. Offense is clicking, defense is improving and more importantly, other players are slowly starting to step up and contribute in a big way. Having beaten the Soaring Falcons already, we can count on the team to come out tomorrow with a mindset that they can beat them again.

We can expect this game to be another low scoring one. This time around, it is important for La Salle to sustain their energy on the defensive end throughout the match and lessen the turnovers. They have already seen how Adamson can light up the scoreboard in a flash if they relax even just for a moment. These lapses need to be avoided for them to have a good shot in winning this one.

In the event that the Green Archers win here, they will tie Adamson for the number 2 spot. Depending on the result of the second game (FEU vs Ateneo), there can be possible 4-way tie for first place at the end of the day. Let’s see how things go but for La Salle, they must not waste this opportunity to strengthen their bid for a semis berth.

Let’s do this!
