The Green Archers easily disposed of the CEU Scorpions 79-51 today to enter the “Sweet 16” of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League.

La Salle raced to a 7-0 lead to start the game and never looked back as they totally outplayed the MNCAA champions. Joshua Webb’s performance in the third quarter helped the Archers pull away for good.

The Archers will join NU, who won earlier against UM in the other playoff match, in the tournament proper of the PCCL which starts on November 19. Their next opponent will be the University of Northern Philippines, champion of the North/Central Luzon leg University of Batangas, champion of the South Luzon/Bicol leg.
